How credits and plans work

Credits are Whali's single currency for the actions that cost us money to run: searching our lead database, revealing contact details, enriching leads and writing with AI. Your plan tops your balance up every week. Sending emails and follow-ups cost nothing, so you never pay to press send.

What does each action cost?

Two things drive the bill: finding people and writing with AI. Searching companies or people costs 2 credits per page of results, previewing who works there is free, and revealing a contact's email costs 3. AI drafting costs 3 per email. Sending, scheduling and follow-ups are free.

When do my credits reset?

Credits reset every week, and they do not roll over, so an unused balance does not stack up. Your weekly allowance depends on your plan: 250 on Starter, 500 on Pro and 2,500 on Max. Free trials get 50 credits. Your balance shows in the sidebar and under Usage on Account & Billing.

1. Open Account & Billing in the sidebar.
2. Check Usage for credits used and credits remaining this week.
3. If you are running short, either wait for the weekly reset or move up a plan for a bigger allowance.
4. Free actions (sending, scheduling, follow-ups, previews) keep working whatever your balance says.

How do I change or cancel my plan?

Everything to do with money lives on Account & Billing in the sidebar. Change Plan compares Starter, Pro and Max and shows the prorated amount before you confirm. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades hold your current plan until the date shown, and cancelling keeps full access until the end of the period.

1. Open Account & Billing.
2. Press Change Plan and pick a plan.
3. Review the prorated amount, then press Confirm Change. A scheduled downgrade can be reversed with Cancel Downgrade.
4. Use Payment & Invoices to update your payment method or download invoices.
5. Cancel from Manage subscription. You keep access until the date shown and can resume in one click before then.

How does refer a friend work?

Every account has an invite link on the General settings page under Refer a friend. Anyone who signs up through it gets 50% off their first month. As soon as their first payment goes through, half your plan price is credited to your account and comes off your next bill automatically.

1. Open General settings.
2. Find Refer a friend and press Copy link.
3. Share it with anyone who would use Whali.
4. Watch each invite move through Trial started, Reward on the way and Rewarded.

Rewards stack: refer two friends in a month and your next month is free, up to six rewards a year.
